📋 Description

• Create and implement top-tier web experiences tailored for gamers

• Collaborate closely with both hardware and software product teams

• Develop dependable, scalable cloud systems and web applications

• Partner with engineers, designers, and product managers

• Acquire knowledge of the React and AWS container-based technology stack

• Release new features on the cloud platform

• Assess the architecture of the cloud platform, pinpoint areas for improvement, and strategize and carry out changes in collaboration with engineering

• Drive innovation and incorporate features into web-based gaming experiences

• Test and provide insights on unreleased SteelSeries hardware products

• Lead and manage refactoring initiatives to uphold a clean and well-tested codebase

• Review new languages, frameworks, and tools, proposing plans for their adoption

• Promote best practices regarding code, testing, and documentation quality

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in full-stack software engineering

• Proven experience in developing scalable cloud solutions, including containerized environments, database design, and distributed systems

• Background in designing and constructing web back ends and user interfaces

• Strong understanding of reliability and observability practices, encompassing logging, tracing, and monitoring within production environments

• Proficient in utilizing AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, and ChatGPT

• A collaborative attitude and a readiness to share knowledge and learn from peers

• A strong desire for continuous growth as an engineer
