Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and implement features utilizing both front-end and back-end technologies

• Transform concepts into tangible solutions through an iterative and highly releasable process

• Translate design specifications into operational code

• Modernize legacy code to align with open standards

• Create, modify, and uphold unit and feature tests

• Adhere to a structured and methodical approach in development, testing, and deployment

• Provide accurate solutions to identified bugs

• Take initiative on projects, set deadlines, and proactively update on progress

• Allocate time efficiently across various projects and time-sensitive tasks

• Evaluate test outcomes and propose solutions for identified issues

• Compile statistics and prepare reports for management and team members regarding programming process status

• Work collaboratively with team members and Quality Assurance engineers

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems preferred, or equivalent experience

• Over 5 years of substantial experience with PHP, contemporary frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel, HTML5, jQuery, Vue, SASS, and CSS

• Proficient in designing and implementing features utilizing modern AI-assisted development tools, including code generation, debugging, and test automation

• Strong engineering judgment to assess AI-generated outputs and uphold code quality and security standards

• Familiarity with AWS and cloud-based web applications is a plus

• Experience with Jira and working in Agile environments

• Comprehensive understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies

• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively, including with Quality Assurance engineers

• Proficient in articulating technical issues to non-technical audiences in a professional manner

• Motivated, organized, detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills
