Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and deploy applications powered by LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, and multi-agent systems.

• Automate intricate data analysis, anomaly detection, and decision-support workflows.

• Advocate for generative AI tools and coding assistants to enhance software development, automate testing, and speed up CI/CD pipelines.

• Work closely with Product Managers, Product Designers, and engineers to transform business objectives into technical specifications, user stories, and test suites within an Agile framework.

• Create technical design documentation, system architecture diagrams, and API specifications.

• Develop CI/CD deployment pipelines and incorporate automated security and quality checks.

• Implement advanced Identity & Access Management (IAM) practices and automated credential rotation.

• Engage in problem management, root cause analysis, and incident resolution to maintain high availability of analytical systems.

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of analytical solutions from design and development to deployment, maintenance, and AI-driven optimization.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, information technology, or a related technology field is required.

• At least 4 years of professional experience in Software Engineering.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience with contemporary frontend frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue).

• A minimum of 3 years of experience with backend frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, Django, or Spring Boot).

• At least 2 years of experience with Python and/or Java.

• Familiarity with or practical experience integrating LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Vertex AI) or open-source models into software applications.

• Preferred: A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

• Preferred experience with LLM orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex) and multi-agent development platforms (e.g., CrewAI, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel).

• Preferred knowledge of vector databases (e.g., PGVector, Chroma, Pinecone, Milvus) and embedding techniques for semantic search and RAG.

• Preferred strong understanding of eXtreme Programming (XP), Clean Code principles, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Pair/Mob programming.

• Preferred experience in developing and deploying to cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, or AWS) using CI/CD tools (Tekton, Terraform, Jenkins, Cloud Build).

• Preferred experience using Agile tools (Jira, Rally) in a dynamic, collaborative, continuous-delivery environment.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential.
