Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance Flash's system architecture utilizing Clean Architecture, Event-Driven Architecture, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD)

• Share technical expertise, insights, technologies, and concepts with the team

• Assist leadership in constructing, monitoring, and analyzing system and product metrics with SRE support

• Investigate, share, experiment with, and deploy innovations and prototypes

• Set standards to facilitate the agile development of junior team members

• Collaborate with colleagues within the team and across various teams

• Contribute to team-building through event practices and rituals

• Encourage cohesive distribution of professionals into working groups

• Promote a culture of knowledge sharing, ongoing learning, feedback, and recognition of achievements

• Create high-quality software that emphasizes scalability, performance, and availability

• Deliver intricate systems, microservices architectures, and integrations through RESTful/GraphQL APIs

• Mentor junior engineers, engage in code reviews, and participate in system design decisions

• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Agile teams

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Node.js, React.js, and other JavaScript frameworks

• Demonstrated experience in developing highly scalable, high-performance, and reliable software

• Background in delivering complex systems, microservices architectures, and integrations via RESTful/GraphQL APIs

• Experience in mentoring junior engineers, conducting code reviews, and making system design choices

• Familiarity with digital product environments while collaborating with Product, Design, and Agile teams

• Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Redis

• Advanced skills in automated testing: unit, integration, and end-to-end tests

• Expertise with messaging and event-driven architectures, such as Kafka

• Understanding of Design Patterns, SOLID principles, Clean Code, and Clean Architecture

• Ability to work autonomously, proactively, and navigate through ambiguity

• Technical leadership skills and capability to collaborate without formal authority

• Business- and customer-oriented mindset with focus on software impact

• Effective and assertive communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Practicality, prioritization skills, and the ability to balance technical excellence with delivery speed

• Commitment to continuous improvement, resilience, and openness to feedback
