Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of intricate, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.

• Design and build high-performance APIs and microservices that support essential business operations.

• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to convert business requirements into technical solutions.

• Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with coding best practices.

• Mentor and guide junior engineers.

• Enhance the software development lifecycle through automation, testing, and CI/CD processes.

• Diagnose and resolve production issues to maintain high availability and reliability of services.

• Assess and incorporate tools, frameworks, and technologies to refine development workflows and boost team productivity.

• Shape the technical direction for projects and engage in architecture discussions and long-term strategic planning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.

• Demonstrated success in delivering complex, scalable applications.

• Proficient in C# or Python, with familiarity in their respective ecosystems.

• Comprehensive understanding of software architecture patterns, including microservices, event-driven architecture, and RESTful API design.

• Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

• Expertise in database design and optimization for both SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Exceptional problem-solving capabilities.

• Strong communication skills for technical discussions, stakeholder presentations, and thorough documentation.

• Ability to identify, minimize, and clarify ambiguity.
