Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Create and develop scalable web applications and APIs utilizing React, TypeScript, and Next.js.

• Design and sustain a Node.js backend featuring REST, gRPC, and GraphQL APIs.

• Engage in architectural decision-making for both frontend and backend systems.

• Collaborate with product managers and designers to provide well-considered solutions.

• Convert operational requirements into effective technical implementations.

• Take part in enhancing CI/CD pipelines and developer tools.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to new engineers in their careers.

• Develop features that capture and link relationships within the entertainment sector.

• Implement modern CRM workflows to replace outdated legacy tools and spreadsheets.

• Create AI-driven features that reveal insights from operational data.

• Construct and uphold APIs and services that support intricate deal and workflow management.

• Transition legacy applications to contemporary web-based systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally, 5+ years of robust software engineering experience.

• Extensive full-stack development experience in creating modern web applications.

• Expertise in React, TypeScript, and Next.js.

• Backend experience with Node.js, focusing on building services and APIs.

• Proficient in designing and working with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.

• Experience with cloud infrastructure; AWS or Azure is preferred.

• Knowledge of containerized workloads using Docker; Kubernetes experience is a plus.

• Understanding of infrastructure as code principles; experience with Terraform is advantageous.

• Comfortable working with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.

• Strong product intuition and a collaborative approach.
