Oracle EBS Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, views, and extraction scripts that underpin financial posting logic, SLA/AutoAccounting/Account Generator rule analysis, and machine-readable crosswalk generation.

• Apply data transformation logic essential for normalizing, structuring, and exporting Oracle EBS financial configuration and transaction metadata.

• Craft optimized SQL and PL/SQL queries to facilitate compliance validation services, RCA workflows, and Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) data models.

• Aid in database integrations with OCI Object Storage, encompassing the generation of output artifacts in JSON/CSV/XML formats and enabling downstream usage.

• Partner with the DBA team to enhance indexing, performance tuning, environment synchronization, and ensure efficient query execution across modules (AP, AR, GL, FA, PO, OM&S).

• Collaborate with DevSecOps engineers to embed PL/SQL code into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring version control, automated testing, and managed deployments.

• Support functional SMEs and architects in investigating posting logic, derivation analysis, exception identification, and traceability.

• Generate technical documentation, database design artifacts, and support evidence necessary for audit and compliance assessments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development within enterprise or ERP settings.

• In-depth knowledge of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL development best practices, performance tuning, and sophisticated data modeling.

• Experience in creating structured data outputs (JSON/CSV/XML) and engaging with cloud storage services.

• Capability to collaborate with DBAs, cloud engineers, and analysts for query troubleshooting, performance optimization, and reliability enhancements.

• Eligibility to obtain and maintain IT II Non Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3) investigation suitability.

• Familiarity with additional BI reporting tools (e.g., Databricks, Spark, Qlik, ADW).

• Experience with Oracle EBS (Financials preferred), particularly in SLA, AutoAccounting, and accounting event structures.

• Proficiency with OCI-based systems, Object Storage integration, or external table configurations (DBMS_CLOUD).

• Comprehension of federal financial structures (USSGL, SFIS/SLOA) or experience supporting audit-focused financial applications.

• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD and automated PL/SQL testing frameworks.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in complex ERP/financial data environments.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across functional and technical teams.

• A structured and detail-oriented mindset, comfortable operating within compliance-driven federal programs.
