Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belarus.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the foundational edge platform operating across various hardware within a hybrid edge-cloud framework.

• Develop and integrate capabilities for video management, encompassing streaming, recording, and real-time AI processing.

• Design and enhance low-latency, high-performance workloads at the edge.

• Construct secure and efficient communication channels between edge devices and cloud infrastructures.

• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to deploy and optimize on-device models.

• Take responsibility for performance under load by profiling CPU and memory, pinpointing bottlenecks, and implementing solutions.

• Engage in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning throughout the technology stack.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in Go, Rust, or TypeScript; proficiency in at least one is essential, ideally two.

• Demonstrated experience with multithreaded and concurrent programming.

• Background in performance profiling and optimization in real production environments.

• Knowledge of CPU and memory management on dedicated hardware.

• Familiarity with Docker and containerization technologies.

• Experience in developing for edge computing or embedded systems.

• Strong foundation in networking and distributed systems.

• Experience in designing and delivering real-time, low-latency systems.

• Background in video streaming or pipeline development.

• Knowledge of storage systems and data management at the edge.

• Proficiency in integrating cloud services such as AWS S3, GCP, MQTT, or Kafka.

• Experience in deploying AI/ML models on edge devices.

• Understanding of security concepts, including encryption, secure communication, and zero trust protocols.
