Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Armenia.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the foundational edge platform that operates across various hardware in a hybrid edge-cloud setup.

• Develop and incorporate video management functionalities, which include streaming, recording, and real-time AI processing.

• Design and enhance low-latency, high-performance tasks at the edge.

• Create secure and efficient communication channels between edge devices and cloud systems.

• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to deploy and refine on-device models.

• Analyze CPU and memory utilization, pinpoint bottlenecks, and address performance challenges under load.

• Engage in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization throughout the entire stack.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in Go, Rust, or TypeScript (proficiency in at least one, preferably two).

• Demonstrated experience with multithreaded and concurrent programming.

• Background in performance profiling and optimization under actual production loads on dedicated hardware.

• Experience in deploying and managing containerized applications using Docker.

• Familiarity with building solutions for resource-limited environments utilizing edge computing or embedded systems.

• Solid understanding of networking and distributed systems principles.

• Experience in designing and delivering low-latency, real-time systems.

• Experience with video streaming or pipeline development (a plus).

• Knowledge of storage systems and data management at the edge (a plus).

• Familiarity with integrating cloud services such as AWS S3, GCP, MQTT, or Kafka (a plus).

• Experience in deploying AI/ML models on edge devices (a plus).

• Understanding of encryption, secure communication, and zero-trust security concepts (a plus).
