Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop microfrontend applications from scratch while also maintaining existing ones.

• Integrate microfrontend applications into host codebases to enhance user experience.

• Collaborate with Lead and Principal Engineers on the architecture of monorepo systems.

• Support various deployment styles and use cases.

• Ensure code quality through code reviews and enhancements to automated checks.

• Provide mentorship and share expertise with junior colleagues.

• Primarily work on CSR frontend applications, with occasional involvement in SSR and orchestration-layer backend services.

• Engage with business stakeholders to discuss project goals and requirements.

• Analyze designs in Figma and strategize work plans.

• Establish clear boundaries for responsibilities assigned to other teams.

• Serve as a proxy for other developers, guiding their work through example and resolving any blockers.

• Actively participate in team rituals and tackle problems proactively while communicating effectively.

• Deliver work in two-week sprints through continuous integration and rolling production deployments.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in developing high-availability B2C applications.

• Strong understanding of and intuition for the CSR TypeScript + React stack.

• Deep expertise in frontend best practices, writing readable, extensible, and maintainable code, making performance-aware decisions, and optimizing user experience.

• Experience with the specified libraries and tools.

• Ability to model and reason about multi-purpose monorepo codebases and make informed architectural decisions.

• Product-driven mindset with a customer-first approach.

• Experience debugging both static and runtime issues in mixed-ownership environments.

• Proven experience in implementing and maintaining feature flags, A/B tests, and extensive conditional rendering.

• Capability to reason through technical decisions in collaboration with other engineering teams.

• Maturity to guide and mentor others effectively.

• Proficiency in spoken and written English at a minimum B2 level.

• Proficiency in spoken and written Polish at a minimum C1 level.

• Familiarity with Grafana, Faro, Alloy, and Loki.

• Experience in architecting and implementing vector embedding-based solutions for medium to large volumes of text.

• Willingness to implement agentic AI workflows.
