Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain enterprise-level applications utilizing .NET, C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.

• Produce clean, scalable, and well-documented code that aligns with established industry best practices.

• Engage in code reviews and ensure compliance with software development standards.

• Create, develop, and enhance ETL processes for various data sources.

• Collaborate with analysts and DBAs to guarantee data quality, integrity, and consistency.

• Automate data workflows and implement error-handling routines.

• Design and manage extensive relational databases and data warehouses.

• Develop and refine stored procedures, functions, and indexing strategies.

• Provide technical direction and mentorship to junior and mid-level software engineers.

• Assist in skill development through pair programming, design discussions, and training sessions.

• Collect requirements and convert them into technical specifications in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Participate in agile ceremonies, contributing to timelines, architecture, and resource planning.

• Monitor system performance and initiate enhancements for availability and responsiveness.

• Assess and implement tools and frameworks; suggest technology upgrades or migrations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• 8–10 years of professional experience in software engineering with a focus on .NET technologies.

• Strong proficiency with database tools, including SSIS, and experience in database development.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated testing.

• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in mentoring or leading junior and mid-level developers is highly preferred.

• Expertise in .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.

• Capability to design and develop relational databases.

• Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, or similar databases.

• Experience in developing and optimizing ETL processes.

• Proficiency in developing stored procedures, functions, and indexing strategies.
