Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop customer-oriented AI products that streamline the workflows of studio operators.

• Enhance and refine agentic loops related to the product, codebase, and delivery process.

• Take full ownership of features from identifying unclear customer issues to shipping and measuring outcomes.

• Modernize the foundational architecture while assisting with migrations and large-scale refactoring efforts.

• Simplify the infrastructure and operations to enable both human and agent engineers to work more efficiently.

• Create production safety nets that facilitate detection, alerting, and incident response.

• Collaborate using TypeScript, Node, NestJS, React, and Postgres.

• Elevate engineering standards through code reviews, collaborative work, and mentorship.

• Promote the adoption of patterns and tools that enhance team productivity.

• Deliver AI functionalities utilized by actual studios and take responsibility for significant product or platform areas.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience is preferred, though demonstrable skills are valued more than tenure.

• Full-stack contributions across various layers of the technology stack.

• Proficient and comfortable with JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Extensive daily engagement with AI tools beyond basic autocomplete functionalities.

• Strong advantage for experience in building agentic workflows, evaluations, or automation processes.

• Significant contributions to migrations or large-scale refactoring projects.

• Practical experience in maintaining production reliability, including observability, alerting, and troubleshooting live issues.

• Proven ability to enhance teammates’ skills through code reviews, collaborative programming, and knowledge sharing.

• Solid product acumen and capacity to pragmatically define ambiguous challenges.

• Comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy and minimal procedural constraints.

• Consistent location within an approved hiring region.

• Availability for at least 4 hours of overlap with U.S. Eastern time.

• Authorization to work in the United States.

• Interest in wellness or fitness is a plus.

• Experience developing solutions for entrepreneurs or small business owners is an additional advantage.
