Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design and develop scalable and maintainable backend services, frontend applications, APIs, and integrations.

• Engage in all areas including backend, frontend, infrastructure, testing, CI/CD, and observability.

• Take ownership of solutions from gathering business requirements and technical design to implementation, deployment, monitoring, and production support.

• Assess trade-offs and make informed technical decisions that balance scalability, reliability, maintainability, performance, and security.

• Enhance system resilience, observability, test automation, and overall production health.

• Support and mentor team members through code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Shape technical direction and enhance engineering practices for the Edge Experience platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in designing and building production-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot.

• Practical frontend experience with Angular and TypeScript.

• In-depth knowledge of RESTful APIs, modular design, clean coding practices, and the trade-offs of distributed systems.

• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD processes, automated testing, and operational troubleshooting of production systems.

• Familiarity with observability tools such as Grafana and Splunk, or similar platforms.

• Demonstrated ability to tackle complex technical challenges and drive them to resolution.

• Capability to provide technical leadership and assist fellow engineers.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Ability to clearly communicate technical decisions and business trade-offs in English.
