📋 Description

• Develop the routing overlay and associated products

• Design, implement, assess, document, and test high-quality code and networking configurations

• Collaborate effectively with the team

• Partner with colleagues and coordinate with global teams to create new features

• Address bugs and build consensus on technical solutions

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in popular programming languages, such as Go or C/C++

• Strong understanding of L3 networking, including BGP and dynamic routing

• Experience with tunneling techniques

• Solid grasp of Linux networking internals

• Practical experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker

• Hands-on experience with virtualization

• Experience with large-scale distributed systems and their architecture

• Strong communication abilities and experience interacting with leadership and non-developer stakeholders

• Capability to work effectively with team members to identify and collaboratively resolve issues

• Experience in technical design, product specification reviews, project management, and backlog planning

• Familiarity with open-source routing daemon suites, such as FRR or gobgp, or other BGP speakers is a plus

• Cloud computing experience is a plus

• Experience in observability using Prometheus and Grafana is a plus

• Infrastructure as Code experience with tools like Ansible and Terraform is a plus

• Experience with Containerlab and CI/CD setups, such as Jenkins, is a plus

• Experience mentoring developers or testers is a plus
