Senior Software Engineer – Army Rapid Capabilities

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, deploy, and showcase applications with rich features.

• Conduct research and develop products that support evaluation technologies for the Army's rapid acquisition logistics efforts.

• Create software solutions that facilitate data-driven testing and evaluation of Army products.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies and programming tools to ensure the team remains well-prepared.

• Collaborate with team members to plan projects, address challenges, and deliver solutions to clients.

• Make significant contributions to impactful projects and technical initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, along with a minimum of 14 years of experience, or a master's degree with 10 years of experience.

• Proficient programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or Typescript.

• Experience with web frameworks and toolkits such as React.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Ability to successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.

• Capability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to ensure timely project completion.

• Ability to interact with team members both virtually and in-person to plan projects, seek assistance, and present solutions to clients.

• Preferred: experience in developing applications that provide clear, intuitive, and user-friendly visualizations of complex workflows.

• Preferred: familiarity with FastAPI, Pydantic, and SQLAlchemy.

• Preferred: examples of code or applications developed.

• Preferred: expertise in AI-Assisted software development workflows.

• Preferred: certifications from Scrum, Microsoft, Google Developer, or other relevant technical fields.
