Senior Software Engineer – Android

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +44 more states.

📋 Description

• Design, integrate, and launch Android applications

• Craft efficient, well-documented code in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Java utilizing Android Studio

• Employ object-oriented programming and design patterns such as MVVM, MVC, and Strategy

• Develop core libraries, application frameworks, and Android architecture

• Implement concurrency through Threads, Handlers, Java, Coroutines, and scheduling methodologies

• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, UX, design, and product teams

• Construct, test, and deploy new features within an agile team

• Deliver and maintain applications for CVS and Health100 (H100)

• Support the complete software development life cycle and the Pharmacy domain

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software development focused on enterprise-class applications

• More than 3 years of experience in Android front-end development

• At least 3 years of experience in developing for various device sizes, including mobile phones and tablets, in both portrait and landscape orientations

• A minimum of 3 years of experience and familiarity with the complete Mobile SDLC using Android SDK

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• High School Diploma with 4 years of relevant experience as an alternative to a Bachelor’s degree

• Capability to manage and safeguard sensitive and confidential company information

• Understanding of ADA and regulatory compliance requirements, including PCI, PII, and PHI

• Proficiency in CI/CD and build automation tools such as Jenkins

• Strong ability to communicate effectively in visual, verbal, and written formats
