Senior Android Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Develop features for native Android applications

• Engage in architectural decisions, quality, security, performance, monitoring, and release of Android applications

• Work with architecture, performance, security, and mobile CI/CD

• Implement integrations with camera, sensors, notifications, widgets, and wearables

• Participate in projects for a Mexican IT consulting firm serving the financial, commercial, manufacturing, telecommunications, services, and government sectors

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems, or a related IT field

• 3 to 5 years of experience in native Android development

• Proficient in Kotlin and Android Studio

• Familiar with Jetpack Compose

• Knowledge of Clean Architecture / MVVM / MVI

• Experience in modularization and Feature Modules / Dynamic Delivery

• Proficient in Hilt / Dagger / Koin

• Experience with Room

• Familiarity with Retrofit / Ktor

• Knowledge of JUnit / Robolectric

• Proficient in ktlint / detekt

• Experience with Gradle Kotlin DSL

• Familiarity with Fastlane / Gradle Play Publisher

• Proficient in GitLab / CI-CD / Quality Gates

• Experience with Firebase Test Lab

• Knowledge of Firebase Crashlytics / ANR Monitoring / Release Health

• Proficient with Android Profiler, performance traces, caching, and image optimization

• Knowledge of Keystore, Secure Storage, Certificate Pinning, OAuth/OIDC, and ProGuard/R8

• Experience with GCP and On-Premise environments

• Experience with integrations involving camera, sensors, notifications, widgets, and wearables

• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
