
Senior Software Engineer â AI/ML Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
⢠Design and construct foundational infrastructure for AI and machine learning operations at a large scale.
⢠Create and execute the ML platform for comprehensive data processing, training, evaluation, and deployment.
⢠Develop robust workflows utilizing cloud computing, Kubernetes, and continuous automation.
⢠Establish the model registry, feature store, and tools for experiment tracking.
⢠Manage developer-facing APIs and CLI tools to facilitate straightforward and reproducible ML workflows.
⢠Implement CI/CD practices for ML, including continuous retraining, automated testing, and production model delivery.
⢠Collaborate with the Staff ML Infrastructure Engineer, AI researchers, robotics engineers, and data platform engineers.
⢠Integrate ML orchestration and metadata tracking tools with existing data lakes and pipelines.
⢠Employ MLOps practices such as reproducibility, lineage, rollback, monitoring, and governance.
⢠Mentor junior engineers and shape the roadmap of the cloud platform organization.
⢠Engage in discussions regarding platform architecture, reliability, and scalability.
⢠Empower AI teams across perception, controls, skills, and innovation to create and deploy robot foundation models and end-to-end policies.
⢠Over 5 years of software engineering experience, including a minimum of 2 years focused on ML infrastructure, data platforms, or MLOps systems in production settings.
⢠Proven experience in building and maintaining contemporary ML platform components such as experiment tracking, model registries, training pipelines, or deployment systems.
⢠Familiarity with orchestration and tracking tools like MLflow, WandB, Airflow, Kubeflow, or similar.
⢠Proficient in AWS, GCP, or Azure; containers; and infrastructure as code tools such as CDK or Terraform.
⢠Practical experience in processing or modeling multimodal data, including sensor logs, camera streams, and behavior traces.
⢠Strong ability to collaborate with research scientists, data engineers, and robotics/autonomy teams.
⢠Valid authorization to work in the United States.
⢠Experience with robotics, autonomous vehicles, drones, or embedded ML is preferred.
⢠Contributions to open-source ML infrastructure or MLOps tools are advantageous.
