Senior Software Engineer – AI, Search

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Offer technical expertise and support throughout the entire software development lifecycle.

• Work collaboratively with Product Managers, Architects, DevOps, and QA to design and create a scalable microservices platform.

• Design, develop, and implement high-quality, reusable, and testable code.

• Create reusable frameworks.

• Collaborate with DevOps and other teams to ensure the platform is highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant.

• Manage operational issues with minimal oversight.

• Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with standards, patterns, and architectural principles.

• Develop and sustain technical documentation and user manuals for the platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in Object-Oriented Development.

• Extensive knowledge in constructing microservices architectures on the JVM platform.

• Familiarity with the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring JDBC.

• At least 2 years of experience in designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with Tekton, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.

• A minimum of 2 years applying clean code principles such as TDD/BDD, Extreme Programming, self-documenting code, continuous refactoring, and Unit, Integration, and Acceptance testing.

• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Visa sponsorship is not available.

• Preferred/added experience includes Apache Solr or Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL or MongoDB, GCP or AWS, Python data pipelines, LLM applications, ADK, Gemini models, Arize AI, eCommerce Search and Discovery, and AI-assisted development tools.
