Senior Software Engineer – AI Code Evaluation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Review and assess AI-generated code across various programming languages and software engineering contexts.

• Evaluate code for accuracy, reliability, security, scalability, readability, and maintainability.

• Detect bugs, logical inconsistencies, incomplete implementations, edge-case failures, and architectural vulnerabilities.

• Examine unfamiliar codebases and comprehend the implications of suggested modifications.

• Review bug resolutions, feature additions, code refactoring, API integrations, configuration alterations, and database activities.

• Compare different implementations to ascertain whether they meet technical specifications.

• Revise or enhance code to produce top-quality reference solutions.

• Offer clear technical explanations for identified problems and proposed enhancements.

• Create evaluation criteria, technical annotations, and rubrics for assessing code quality.

• Collaborate with researchers and engineering teams to develop coding benchmarks and enhance LLM evaluation techniques.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Strong expertise in at least one programming language, such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C++, Go, C#, Ruby, PHP, or Rust.

• Extensive experience in building, maintaining, debugging, and reviewing production-level software.

• In-depth understanding of software design principles, clean code practices, modular architecture, abstraction, error handling, and maintainability.

• Demonstrated ability to identify functional, performance, security, and design issues in complex codebases.

• Excellent debugging, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Experience with code reviews and collaborative software development processes.

• Familiarity with Git and contemporary software engineering methodologies.

• Proficient written English skills and the ability to articulate technical feedback clearly.

• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, APIs, databases, and application architecture.
