This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, and train machine learning and deep learning models, including GenAI, NLP, and predictive analytics solutions for applications in healthcare.
• Create, test, and implement AI solutions in both cloud-based and on-premise settings.
• Handle extensive healthcare datasets, executing data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulations.
• Integrate and enhance AI models within Gainwell’s current technology framework.
• Partner with software engineers to guarantee smooth system integration.
• Oversee, enhance, and fine-tune AI models for accuracy, efficiency, and speed by utilizing MLOps best practices.
• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in AI/ML and investigate new technologies and methodologies.
• Ensure that AI implementations comply with healthcare regulations, ethical AI principles, and data privacy standards.
• Identify possibilities to automate workflows and enhance business processes through AI-driven solutions.
• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, including practical experience with GenAI, NLP, deep learning, and computer vision.
• Proficient coding skills in Python and experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Familiarity with LLMs (e.g., GPT, Gemini, Claude), including prompt engineering and optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), MLOps practices, and big data tools (Spark, Hadoop, SQL/NoSQL).
• Experience in developing, deploying, and fine-tuning LLMs for real-world applications, including prompt engineering, model optimization, and inference efficiency.
• Strong programming expertise in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other AI frameworks.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a talent for translating business challenges into AI-driven solutions.
• Experience in healthcare AI and an understanding of regulatory standards such as HIPAA and CMS is a plus.
• All interviews and the initial week of orientation must be conducted with video cameras on.
