Senior Software Engineer – AI Code Evaluation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bangladesh, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Examine and assess AI-generated code across various programming languages and software engineering contexts.

• Evaluate code for accuracy, dependability, security, scalability, clarity, and maintainability.

• Detect bugs, logical inconsistencies, incomplete implementations, edge-case failures, and architectural vulnerabilities.

• Analyze unfamiliar codebases and grasp the implications of proposed modifications.

• Review bug resolutions, feature implementations, refactoring efforts, API integrations, configuration alterations, and database manipulations.

• Compare different implementations and ascertain if they meet technical specifications.

• Rewrite or enhance code to develop high-quality reference solutions.

• Offer clear technical explanations for identified problems and suggested enhancements.

• Create evaluation criteria, technical notes, and rubrics for assessing code quality.

• Collaborate with researchers and engineering teams to establish coding benchmarks and refine LLM evaluation methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional software engineering experience.

• Strong expertise in at least one programming language, including Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C++, Go, C#, Ruby, PHP, or Rust.

• Extensive experience in building, maintaining, debugging, and reviewing production-quality software.

• Deep understanding of software design principles, clean code practices, modular architecture, abstraction, error handling, and maintainability.

• Proven capability to identify functional, performance, security, and design challenges in complex codebases.

• Excellent debugging, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience with code reviews and collaborative software development processes.

• Familiarity with Git and contemporary software engineering methodologies.

• Strong written English skills and the ability to articulate technical feedback clearly.

• Good grasp of data structures, algorithms, APIs, databases, and application architecture.
