This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate closely with intelligence analysts to comprehend their objectives, limitations, and workflows.
• Convert analyst requirements into technical solutions with well-defined success metrics.
• Spot significant opportunities to enhance intelligence collection processes.
• Prioritize and transform solutions for sustainable adoption.
• Design, develop, and oversee AI-driven internal applications from start to finish.
• Create back-end services, APIs, data storage solutions, infrastructure, and user-facing interfaces.
• Develop customized agentic solutions leveraging models like OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini.
• Take charge of technical design, architecture, project scoping, delivery, iteration, and ongoing support.
• Construct reliable and scalable systems tailored for analysts.
• Assess impact and iterate based on results.
• Lead projects as a technical anchor following a weekly sprint schedule.
• Manage customer support requests from designated Slack channels for internal tools.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver impactful features.
• Over 6 years of full-stack software engineering experience in developing scalable web applications, services, and APIs.
• Strong product intuition and capacity to identify and deliver high-impact, scalable solutions.
• Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Robust back-end and systems engineering expertise.
• Experience in building back-end systems and designing APIs.
• Familiarity with data storage solutions like Postgres/pgvector, Pinecone, and Redis.
• Practical experience with AI tools and applications, modern AI models, agentic IDEs, or AI-enabled workflows/prototypes.
• High level of ownership and initiative, with the ability to work independently in ambiguous problem contexts.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish trust with semi-technical stakeholders.
• Capability to articulate technical trade-offs clearly.
• Willingness and availability to engage in the internal-tools on-call rotation.
• At least 6 hours of overlap with PST, specifically from 8 am to 2 pm PST.
