Senior Software Engineer, AI Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with intelligence analysts to comprehend their objectives, limitations, and workflows.

• Convert analyst requirements into technical solutions with well-defined success metrics.

• Recognize and prioritize high-impact opportunities to enhance intelligence collection.

• Develop solutions that are sustainable for long-term adoption.

• Design, construct, and manage AI-driven internal applications from start to finish.

• Create back-end services, APIs, data storage solutions, infrastructure, and user-facing interfaces.

• Develop customized agentic solutions utilizing models such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini.

• Oversee technical design, architecture, scoping, delivery, iteration, and ongoing support.

• Build dependable and scalable systems for analysts.

• Assess impact and iterate based on results.

• Engage in a weekly sprint schedule and lead projects as a technical guide.

• Manage customer support inquiries from designated Slack channels for internal tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in full-stack software engineering, focusing on scalable web applications, services, and APIs.

• Strong understanding of product development and the ability to identify and deliver impactful, scalable solutions.

• Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Solid back-end and systems engineering expertise.

• Experience in developing backend systems and designing APIs.

• Familiarity with datastores such as Postgres/pgvector, Pinecone, and Redis.

• A curious mindset and practical experience with AI tools and applications.

• Experience with modern AI models, agentic IDEs, or developing AI-enabled workflows or prototypes.

• A strong sense of ownership and initiative; capable of working independently in ambiguous problem environments.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with semi-technical stakeholders.

• Must be willing and able to take part in the internal-tools on-call rotation.

• Must be available to work with at least 6 hours of overlap with PST, from 8 am to 2 pm PST.
