This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Design artificial intelligence systems.
• Create comprehensive AI solutions utilizing machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), and generative AI.
• Develop applications powered by large language models (LLMs) using foundational models, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, structured outputs, function/tool calling, and agent workflows.
• Design and implement AI agents that plan, reason through complex tasks, interact with tools and APIs, retrieve contextual information, and execute controlled business process actions.
• Develop multi-agent and orchestration workflows ensuring control flow, observability, and fallback handling.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain AI and machine learning models as well as agentic systems in a production environment.
• Construct pipelines for ingestion, preprocessing, vector search, model inference, and agent memory/context.
• Establish offline and online evaluation frameworks focusing on quality, latency, safety, task completion, reliability, and business outcomes.
• Optimize model selection, prompt efficiency, orchestration, latency, throughput, caching, token usage, and serving efficiency.
• Implement security measures, privacy protocols, responsible AI practices, model-risk controls, guardrails, permissions, compliance, and human-in-the-loop reviews.
• Create and implement advanced NLP algorithms and LLM models for Conversation Intelligence analytics.
• Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders, integrating feedback from diverse sources.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is mandatory.
• Over 5 years of hands-on experience in training, evaluating, testing, deploying, and monitoring machine learning models in production settings.
• Practical experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, structured outputs, and model evaluation.
• Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, Strands AI, or similar LLM/agent orchestration frameworks.
• Experience in designing or building AI agents utilizing planning, memory, tool calling, workflow orchestration, agent-to-agent communication, and external system integration.
• Strong proficiency in Python and backend frameworks such as Flask or Django.
• In-depth understanding of machine learning principles.
• Practical NLP experience encompassing text classification, named entity recognition (NER), clustering, topic modeling, semantic search, and conversational AI.
• Experience in fine-tuning LLMs and transformer-based models including BERT, RoBERTa, and ALBERT.
• Knowledge of tokenizers, embeddings, pre-trained models, and adaptation techniques.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases, vector databases or embedding stores, and AI data pipelines.
• Experience with model serving, observability, evaluation, error analysis, prompt/version management, and production monitoring.
• Familiarity with Linux, testing, CI/CD, APIs, and version control systems.
