Senior Software Engineer, Ads Creative Effectiveness

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the design and execution of high-performance backends for ad creative generation.

• Take ownership of the architectural vision for brand asset preservation and style consistency across the GenAI stack.

• Create end-to-end image and video editing engines, APIs, and asset-manipulation logic.

• Construct scalable systems that process high volumes of ad performance data and enhance the creative generation flywheel.

• Design architectures for high-concurrency inference, latency optimization, and cost-effective scaling systems.

• Develop and maintain low-latency content filtering and compliance middleware.

• Collaborate with Product, UX, and Ads ML leadership to establish the technical roadmap.

• Convert business objectives into technical designs and integrate systems into the Ad Manager UI and delivery stacks.

• Oversee design reviews, mentor engineers, and enhance code quality, reliability, documentation, and technical standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in architecting and scaling distributed backend systems, such as Python or Go.

• A proven track record in designing robust, high-performing, and extensible microservices and APIs.

• Strong experience with integrating ML models into production software.

• Knowledge of model serving and resilient data pipelines for LLMs/VLMs.

• Experience in optimizing infrastructure for real-time generative workflows.

• In-depth understanding of how technical decisions influence business outcomes.

• Experience working with Product teams to define scalable technical roadmaps.

• Senior-level expertise in system reliability, observability, and maintainability.

• Exceptional communication skills and ability to build consensus across Product, Design, and ML teams.

• Experience in articulating complex technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.

• Background in conducting design and code reviews and mentoring engineers.

• Proven experience in building complex asset-heavy systems, such as automated image/video processing pipelines or high-scale content creation workflows.
