Senior Software Engineer – Admin, IAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance identity and access systems for authentication and authorization, SSO, user provisioning, session management, and permissions.

• Create and refine enterprise administration experiences, which include company and workspace configuration, user and content administration, billing, and internal admin tools.

• Collaborate with Product, Design, Infrastructure, Security, and Engineering teams to deliver secure and user-friendly experiences.

• Prototype, implement, and sustain features of the Admin & IAM platform.

• Lead technical initiatives from conceptual design through implementation, rollout, and operational support.

• Develop flexible, observable, maintainable, secure, high-quality, performant, and reliable solutions.

• Leverage AI tools within core workflows to enhance productivity, code quality, and system comprehension.

• Participate in technical design discussions and conduct code reviews.

• Mentor fellow team members and advance engineering processes and best practices.

• Report to an Engineering Manager and collaborate with a small, focused team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in building and deploying large-scale production software as part of an agile engineering team.

• Proficient in quickly acquiring knowledge of new technologies, platforms, and stacks while becoming productive in extensive existing codebases.

• A pragmatic approach to utilizing AI-driven development practices to enhance productivity, code quality, and system comprehension.

• Significant experience in constructing backend systems and APIs using Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, MongoDB, or similar technologies.

• Practical experience in developing production user interfaces with React and modern frontend patterns.

• Ability to plan and execute technical projects iteratively while balancing speed, quality, and long-term maintainability.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with product, design, security, and engineering partners.

• Experience in a fast-paced or growth-stage environment.

• Domain expertise in authentication flows, authorization models, roles and permissions, SSO, SCIM provisioning, or session management.

• Experience in creating enterprise administration or B2B SaaS configuration interfaces such as organization management, billing, or admin dashboards.
