Senior Software Development Engineer – Verity Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and enhance scalable full-stack software solutions that facilitate reporting, workflow automation, analytics, and predictive functionalities.

• Take charge of technical design and participate in architecture decisions for distributed, data-intensive systems.

• Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to convert complex requirements into technical solutions.

• Estimate tasks, prioritize initiatives, recognize risks, and ensure successful execution through to completion.

• Utilize modern development methodologies and AI-assisted tools to enhance code quality, developer productivity, and system performance.

• Work alongside engineering, QA, and operations teams to produce reliable, production-ready software.

• Guarantee secure and resilient deployments through effective monitoring, observability, and performance enhancement.

• Enhance engineering standards, processes, and patterns to elevate platform quality and maturity.

• Provide mentorship to engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.

• Safeguard sensitive and proprietary data while ensuring compliance with regulations, including HIPAA.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in developing enterprise-grade software applications and distributed systems.

• Proficient backend development experience with object-oriented or modern programming languages.

• Strong preference for Golang.

• Experience in designing systems that prioritize scalability, reliability, and fault tolerance.

• Practical experience with cloud-native architectures and platforms, particularly AWS.

• Familiarity with modern CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and automated testing.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Capacity to work independently and effectively collaborate within cross-functional teams.

• Preferred Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Experience with Angular or React is a plus.

• Familiarity with complex data models and large datasets, including MongoDB, is preferred.

• Experience in leading technical initiatives or projects is preferred.

• Background in Agile or Scrum environments is preferred.

• Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or regulated industry systems is preferred.

• Ability to protect sensitive and proprietary data while supporting HIPAA compliance.

• Home internet connection via cable broadband or fiber optic service with a minimum of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speed.
