Senior Software Development Engineer, Verity Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and enhance scalable full-stack software solutions for reporting, workflow automation, analytics, and predictive functionalities.

• Lead the technical design process and actively contribute to architectural decisions for distributed, data-intensive systems.

• Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to convert complex requirements into effective technical solutions.

• Estimate tasks, prioritize initiatives, assess risks, and oversee execution to ensure completion.

• Utilize modern development methodologies and AI-assisted tools to enhance code quality, developer productivity, and system performance.

• Work alongside engineering, QA, and operations teams to deliver dependable, production-ready software.

• Ensure secure and resilient deployments through effective monitoring, observability, and performance enhancements.

• Continuously refine engineering standards, processes, and methodologies.

• Mentor other engineers through design reviews, code assessments, and knowledge sharing.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry advancements.

• Safeguard sensitive and proprietary data while adhering to compliance obligations, including HIPAA.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in developing enterprise-grade software applications and distributed systems.

• Strong backend development expertise using object-oriented or contemporary programming languages; proficiency in Golang is highly preferred.

• Experience in designing systems for scalability, reliability, and fault tolerance.

• Practical experience with cloud-native architectures and platforms like AWS.

• Familiarity with modern CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated testing processes.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities in situations with ambiguous and changing requirements.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is preferred.

• Experience with Angular or React is preferred.

• Familiarity with complex data models and large datasets, particularly with MongoDB, is preferred.

• Experience leading technical projects or initiatives is preferred.

• Experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies is preferred.

• Familiarity with healthcare, pharmacy, or regulated industry systems is preferred.

• Home internet connection through cable broadband or fiber optic service with a minimum of 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload required when working from home.
