Senior Software Development Engineer, Test

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Participate in the development of system test strategies to guarantee comprehensive test coverage and automation.

• Design and implement automated system tests that mimic real-world situations.

• Enhance testing methodologies and processes to boost the efficiency of test automation.

• Assess product and system design specifications to confirm the adequacy of test plans and test cases.

• Mentor junior engineers in creating effective and high-quality solutions.

• Investigate emerging trends and technologies pertaining to testing infrastructure and applications.

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders, developers, and cross-functional teams to provide top-notch software solutions for distributed systems featuring web and console interfaces.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• At least 4 years of experience in programming test automation using Python, Perl, and/or shell scripting.

• Familiarity with Linux/Unix-like operating systems.

• Understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, and/or TLS/SSL.

• Proficient with git/Stash and Perforce version control systems.

• Capability to collaborate effectively and resolve issues with team members.
