This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Lead a team of developers in the development of new applications and modernization initiatives, while remaining actively engaged in design, coding, reviews, testing, and troubleshooting.
β’ Establish the technical direction for projects, encompassing architecture, integration patterns, modernization strategies, engineering standards, delivery methodologies, and technical risk management.
β’ Utilize AI-assisted development tools for code comprehension, generation, refactoring, testing, documentation, and migration planning, validating results through engineering judgment.
β’ Design and construct tailored agents and agentic workflows utilizing LangGraph, A2A, MCP-enabled tools, or similar technologies.
β’ Facilitate the modernization of existing applications by analyzing legacy code, recognizing business logic and constraints, defining target architecture, and developing incremental transformation roadmaps.
β’ Make informed architectural decisions regarding APIs, data models, cloud services, security, observability, integration, DevSecOps, and user experience.
β’ Mentor developers in software engineering practices, AI-assisted delivery methods, secure coding, automated testing, maintainable design, and code reviews.
β’ Collaborate with architects, product owners, business stakeholders, client technical teams, and delivery leaders to convert business requirements into technical plans.
β’ Identify and manage risks associated with AI-generated software, such as brittle code, hidden assumptions, inadequate tests, security vulnerabilities, licensing issues, maintainability gaps, and architectural drift.
β’ Develop reusable patterns, accelerators, prompts, agents, reference architectures, and engineering practices to support modernization efforts.
β’ Extensive hands-on software development experience in delivering production-quality applications.
β’ Proven experience in leading a team of developers, including mentoring, code reviews, technical planning, delivery guidance, and issue resolution.
β’ Demonstrated experience in establishing the technical direction for software delivery projects, including architectural decisions, engineering standards, delivery methodologies, and technical risk management.
β’ Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, Go, or similar technologies.
β’ Experience in new application development, application modernization, or both.
β’ Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools for coding, refactoring, testing, documentation, debugging, code comprehension, and architectural exploration.
β’ Experience in reviewing and validating AI-generated code for correctness, security, maintainability, performance, testability, and alignment with architecture and requirements.
β’ Familiarity with agentic development concepts and experience in building or prototyping agents using LangGraph, A2A, MCP-enabled tools, or comparable frameworks.
β’ Strong understanding of software architecture and engineering fundamentals, including APIs, data models, integration patterns, automated testing, version control, CI/CD, secure coding, observability, and operational support.
β’ Ability to analyze existing codebases, identify opportunities for modernization, define target-state architecture, and develop incremental transformation plans.
β’ Excellent communication skills to convey technical direction clearly to developers, architects, stakeholders, and client teams.
β’ A growth mindset and enthusiasm for the influence of AI on software development.
β’ Preferred: experience in modernizing legacy applications, architecting cloud-native applications, utilizing agent and orchestration frameworks, designing enterprise-integrated agents, defining architectural guardrails and engineering playbooks, DevSecOps, RAG, vector databases, tool calling, evaluation harnesses, prompt engineering, LLM application testing, agent observability, and Agile delivery environments.
