Senior Software Development Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, test, and implement full-stack solutions that support Aetna's Medicare operations.

• Utilize AI tools for enhanced application development.

• Assess business requirements and convert them into scalable system solutions and feature upgrades.

• Design, implement, and develop functionalities that align with business and operational necessities.

• Build, maintain, and improve applications utilizing SQL Server technologies.

• Compose, test, and refine complex database queries, stored procedures, and scripts.

• Diagnose and rectify issues related to databases and applications.

• Work collaboratively with developers, business analysts, QA testers, and cross-functional teams.

• Maintain data integrity, accuracy, and system performance through effective monitoring and optimization.

• Engage in system enhancements, testing, deployment, and initiatives for continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience with Visual Studio.

• 3-5 years of experience with SQL Server Management Studio.

• Proven experience in creating and optimizing stored procedures.

• Knowledge in creating objects, triggers, and functions.

• Experience with building indexes.

• Capability to write dynamic SQL.

• Experience in creating parameterized stored procedures.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

• Preferred: 3-5 years of experience with Visual Studio SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).

• Preferred: Familiarity with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services).

• Preferred: Ability to write variables within SSIS.

• Preferred: Proficiency in GitHub and DevOps.

• Preferred: 1-3 years of experience with AI developer tools (Copilot), DevOps, Power BI, Tableau, Databricks, MongoDB, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud Platform.
