Senior Software Development Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, implementation, and execution of strategic technology initiatives that support the HCB SAP S/4 transformation program.

• Lead a team consisting of engineers, solution architects, and vendor partners.

• Provide scalable, secure, and high-quality integration, data, and application solutions across SAP S/4 and enterprise platforms.

• Drive the implementation and integration delivery of SAP S/4HANA.

• Supervise enterprise data migration and reconciliation efforts.

• Assist in the modernization of financial systems.

• Spearhead the integration of both SAP and non-SAP applications.

• Govern the architecture and solution design processes.

• Direct vendors and cross-functional teams.

• Execute programs, manage risks, and engage with stakeholders effectively.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, enterprise architects, infrastructure teams, and external partners.

• Ensure operational excellence and achieve project objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering, application development, systems integration, or enterprise technology delivery.

• Proven experience in leading large-scale enterprise transformation or ERP implementation initiatives.

• Solid understanding of system integration patterns, APIs, middleware platforms, and cloud-based architectures.

• Experience managing the complete software development lifecycle (SDLC) employing Agile methodologies.

• Demonstrated success in delivering complex, cross-functional technology programs on schedule and within budget.

• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and executive presentation abilities.

• Experience collaborating with third-party vendors, consultants, and offshore delivery teams.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.

• A combination of education and relevant work experience may also be considered.

• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, or modernization programs.

• Knowledge of SAP integration technologies, including SAP BTP, SAP CPI, DataSphere, and related SAP ecosystem tools.

• Experience in finance, healthcare, insurance, or regulated industry environments.

• Knowledge of Oracle financial systems, enterprise data platforms, and large-scale data migration projects.

• Experience in driving organizational change management and technology adoption initiatives.

• Strong grasp of data governance, security, compliance, and audit requirements.
