Senior Software Development Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance, and accessible front-end features and interfaces.

• Provide an exceptional user experience across intricate, data-intensive workflows and dashboards.

• Contribute to the architecture of front-end systems, component libraries, and alignment with design systems.

• Work closely with design and product teams to translate requirements and prototypes into refined, high-quality user interfaces.

• Collaborate with backend engineers to design and integrate APIs while optimizing data-fetching and feedback loops.

• Produce clean, well-tested, maintainable code and maintain high standards through code reviews.

• Advocate for accessibility, performance, and usability as core priorities.

• Guide and mentor engineers, sharing best practices for front-end development across the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient front-end engineering skills with a modern JavaScript framework (preferably Angular with TypeScript; React or Vue are also welcome) and extensive TypeScript knowledge.

• Strong grasp of contemporary front-end architecture, including component design, state management, monorepos, and design systems.

• Practical, everyday experience utilizing Claude Code (or similar agentic AI coding tools) to produce production-quality software.

• Experience in building and utilizing REST/GraphQL APIs and integrating with cloud-native back-end services.

• Familiarity with data visualization and dashboard frameworks (such as D3, Chart.js, Highcharts).

• A keen attention to detail, along with a strong focus on accessibility (WCAG), performance, and user experience.

• Knowledge of modern testing strategies for front-end applications.

• Background in cloud-hosted SaaS applications (AWS preferred).
