Senior Software Developer – Simulation, SimCore

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Create simulation scenarios that facilitate high-fidelity and high-performance validation of the autonomous driving software stack.

• Build the gym environment tailored for reinforcement learning model training.

• Ensure an exceptional developer experience.

• Gain knowledge and work across the autonomous driving software stack, simulation frameworks, and reinforcement learning model training.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Machine Learning, or equivalent experience.

• More than 5 years of relevant industry experience.

• Proficient programming skills in C++ and Python.

• Proven history of effective collaboration with clients and consistent delivery of quality outcomes in a hybrid or remote setting.

• At ease collaborating across large engineering organizations.

• Enthusiastic about safe, fully-electric, self-driving technology and its global impact.

• Experience in developing or enhancing AV/Robotic simulation.

• Familiarity with game engines such as Unity, Unreal Engine, or PhysX.

• Experience with reinforcement learning, gym environments, or LLM.

• Strong programming expertise in modern C++ and Object-oriented Design.

• Must not require GM immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
