Senior Software Developer – SimCore

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement applied AI/ML solutions that enhance simulation workflows, internal tools, and mission-critical engineering applications.

• Engage across various innovation phases, from initial exploration and rapid prototyping to creating robust, maintainable production systems.

• Partner with simulation, scenario-generation, data, and engineering teams to uncover AI opportunities.

• Provide solutions that achieve clear customer satisfaction and business success metrics.

• Fine-tune, modify, optimize, assess, and deliver foundation models as production systems.

• Create reliable, high-performance inference pipelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s degree is required in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines; a PhD is preferred.

• Over 5 years of practical ML/AI engineering experience, with at least 2+ years focused on delivering scalable production AI systems.

• Extensive knowledge of at least one contemporary multimodal or 3D computer vision pipeline, such as NeRF, Gaussian Splatting, world models, or diffusion-based generation.

• Proficient in Python programming.

• Familiarity with a modern ML/AI library such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenAI APIs, HuggingFace, or gsplat.

• Strong grasp of ML fundamentals, including data preprocessing, training pipelines, assessment metrics, and model performance enhancement.

• Capability to transition between research exploration and practical engineering tasks.

• Proven track record of leading projects from inception to completion with minimal supervision.

• Must not require GM immigration sponsorship currently or in the future.
