Senior Software Developer, .NET Framework

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Design and uphold software applications utilizing the .NET Framework according to project requirements.

• Improve, adjust, and provide support for existing functionalities.

• Assist in planning deployments and system upkeep to reduce workflow disruptions and downtime.

• Contribute to the production of reliable and stable software releases.

• Diagnose and resolve coding issues, implementing code or configuration modifications to rectify errors.

• Examine data inputs, pinpoint potential issues, and devise contingencies like error handling and alternate workflows.

• Conduct application testing and debug or rectify problems to guarantee reliability and stability.

• Collaborate with the IT/Systems team, company executives, stakeholders, and Systems Analysts to grasp project requirements and process flows.

• Communicate alternative solutions and assist in the execution of optimal solutions.

• Aid in the development and maintenance of program development and revision documentation.

• Support the creation of user documentation and training materials.

• Engage in learning and development opportunities to enhance personal performance.

• Manage, oversee, participate in, and/or lead special projects independently or as part of a team.

• Coordinate and communicate with remote development teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of C# programming language, SQL, HTML, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, Angular Framework, and software testing and maintenance.

• Proficiency in the .NET Framework and C# programming language.

• Proficiency in the Angular Framework and associated programming languages.

• Experience in designing and working within enterprise application architectures.

• Software Developer: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial & Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, and/or three or more years of experience in Computer Information Systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Senior Software Developer: Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or six or more years of experience in Computer Information Systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Advanced proficiency in C# development on the .NET Framework.

• Senior Software Developer: Demonstrated success in leading project migrations and system modernizations.

• Knowledge of the insurance industry is an advantage.
