Senior Software Developer – Microsoft Dynamics 365, Application

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist the Department of State in the development, modernization, integration, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise applications.

• Offer technical expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Microsoft Power Platform, .NET technologies, application integration, cloud migration, and SQL Server database development.

• Inform the Project Manager, COR, and GTM about significant IT operations and application development challenges.

• Help guide application transformation and design innovative applications with updated interfaces and architectures.

• Collaborate on transitioning from existing platforms to cloud-based solutions.

• Participate in customer meetings and act as the primary contact for technical solutions.

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise solutions within Dynamics 365 CRM and Microsoft Power Platform.

• Configure custom entities, forms, views, business rules, workflows, and CRM security models.

• Create CRM plug-ins, JavaScript web resources, and custom business logic utilizing C#, JavaScript, and the Dynamics CRM SDK.

• Construct and manage Power Apps and Power Automate workflows.

• Develop and enhance custom applications employing .NET, ASP.NET, Web API, C#, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and related technologies.

• Integrate Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Platform solutions with external systems.

• Assist with SQL Server database development, including stored procedures, views, triggers, data queries, and reporting.

• Support automated notifications, workflow processes, and system-triggered business logic.

• Diagnose application issues, support production systems, and implement enhancements.

• Engage in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, estimation, and status updates.

• Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, document technical solutions, and deliver software.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in the IT services or development sector.

• Experience in supporting IT application migration and development initiatives.

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in statistics, computer science, mathematics, or a related discipline.

• 2–5 years of experience in a cloud environment.

• Practical experience in developing and supporting Dynamics 365 CRM solutions.

• Familiarity with Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.

• Strong development skills in C#, JavaScript, .NET, ASP.NET, Web API, or similar Microsoft technologies.

• Experience in creating CRM plugins, JavaScript web resources, custom entities, forms, views, workflows, and security roles.

• Proficient in integrating enterprise applications using REST APIs, OData, JSON, XML, and related methods.

• Solid SQL Server experience, encompassing database development, stored procedures, views, triggers, and reporting queries.

• Capability to lead projects using the Scrum/Agile framework and methodology.

• Experience in leading teams, with the ability to motivate and engage others.

• Ideally possesses experience working within the Federal Government.
