Senior Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Accountable for software development and integration based on the project scope agreed upon between Spassu and its clients.

• Oversee the development team and delegate tasks utilizing project management tools.

• Ensure that the software delivered meets all outlined requirements on the specified technology platform and adheres to established architectural standards.

• Configure projects in accordance with both internal and client procedures, ensuring integrity, traceability, and maintainability.

• Collaborate with other teams to develop the project architecture model and manage its evolution throughout the software lifecycle.

• Analyze functional specifications and create technical specifications using descriptive text, UML diagrams, and other modeling methods.

• Organize work using the designated project management tool.

• Mentor and assist the team’s developers.

• Write and integrate software components following technical specifications, utilizing the defined tools, languages, and libraries.

• Identify, develop, and execute tests for the components created.

• Carry out enhancements and corrective maintenance on software components.

• Generate technical documentation as per contractual obligations.

• Integrate created components with the team's other components using the assigned integration tool.

• Set up and configure the local development environment.

• Provide information to other teams for configuring production pipeline workflows in the continuous integration tool.

• Offer support to the IT team and the client’s users regarding the developed components, modules, and packages.

• Conduct deliveries and integration testing within the client’s environment.

• Supervise software acceptance testing and deployment in the client’s settings.

• Facilitate training and knowledge transfer for the client.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or Chemistry; or a bachelor’s degree in any discipline paired with a postgraduate qualification (specialization, master’s, or doctoral degree) of at least 360 hours in Information Technology.

• Preferred experience: 7 years as a Systems Analyst, Software Developer, or in a similar role.

• Familiarity with the development and maintenance of solutions supported by the Agile Team throughout the entire lifecycle, from conception, analysis, and design to implementation, testing, deployment, operation, and decommissioning.

• Expertise in modeling, solution architecture, programming, databases, user interfaces, services and integrations, testing, and deployment.

• Certification is not mandatory.
