Senior Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design, build, test, and implement scalable full stack applications utilizing Java, Spring Framework, jQuery, React, and SQL.

• Develop and sustain backend services and APIs, emphasizing performance, security, and scalability.

• Create responsive, user-centric front-end components by leveraging contemporary JavaScript techniques.

• Work in partnership with product managers, data engineers, and designers to deliver top-notch solutions.

• Enhance database performance and craft efficient queries across relational databases.

• Engage in code reviews and contribute to best practices regarding coding, architecture, and design.

• Assist in CI/CD pipelines and refine deployment processes.

• Participate in automated testing strategies and elevate overall code quality.

• Mentor junior developers or actively pursue personal growth within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience as a full stack developer.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• Extensive experience with Java and the Spring Framework (Spring Boot is preferred).

• High proficiency in SQL (e.g., MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).

• Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.

• Knowledge of authentication and authorization patterns (OAuth2, SSO).

• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

• Experience with SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.

• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Understanding of containerization tools such as Docker.

• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Groovy.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum settings.
