Senior Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Create and maintain software solutions based on Cerner systems.

• Generate reports and rules utilizing traditional Cerner CCL coding.

• Oversee the architecture, development, and upkeep of both standard and customized solutions.

• Design and provide support for tailored coding solutions within a healthcare setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate Degree (2 Years) along with 6 years of experience in developing and supporting custom coding solutions within a healthcare setting; an Associate degree ideally in Information Systems/Business or with a healthcare focus.

• OR a Bachelor's Degree (4 Years) accompanied by 5 years of experience in the development and support of custom coding solutions in a healthcare environment; a Bachelor's degree preferably in Information Systems/Business or with a healthcare focus.

• OR 7 years of experience in healthcare, particularly in developing and supporting custom coding solutions.

• Proficiency in Cerner Command Language (CCL) and Discern Explorer.

• Knowledge of web-based languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, PHP, XML, and XSL.

• Experience with NodeJS-based development and NPM.

• Familiarity with terminal languages including Bash, PowerShell, and CMD Prompt.

• Competence in MSSQL, MySQL, and PL/SQL (Oracle).

• Proficiency in Java.

• Experience with AutoHotkey.

• Knowledge of Cerner internal MPage functions and coding.

• Experience with Discern Explorer Applications.

• Compliance with Munson Healthcare vaccination mandates or possess lab-confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella.

• Must obtain a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year of hire and annually thereafter, or have an approved medical or religious exemption.
