Senior Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Develop a deep understanding of users, their challenges, and the underlying reasons for those challenges.

• Prioritize user needs to foster empathy for the solutions being developed.

• Convert sketches, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups into functional web and mobile experiences.

• Write contemporary JavaScript for both web and mobile applications.

• Build and sustain payment systems.

• Integrate and enhance Stripe APIs to ensure a seamless and secure user experience.

• Collaborate closely with designers and developers.

• Manage the development workflow using GitHub.

• Communicate effectively through Basecamp, Slack, Linear, and video conferencing.

• Deliver high-quality work efficiently in a fast-paced and occasionally ambiguous environment.

• Incorporate feedback into your work effectively.

• Produce tested, maintainable, and well-documented software.

• Participate in cross-functional product teams focused on innovative digital solutions.

• Work iteratively and collaboratively within assigned tasks, sprints, and cycles.

• A strong passion for the entire product development process.

• Proven ability to utilize an iterative approach to sustain project momentum.

• Knowledge of modern development tools, libraries, and frameworks, such as React, React Native, Redux, Node, GraphQL, GitHub, VS Code, CircleCI, and Jest.

• Experience with Stripe integrations.

• Practical expertise in building, maintaining, and scaling payment systems.

• Experience in implementing APIs and ensuring secure, smooth transactions.

• Must reside in the United States.

• Availability during standard business hours for client and team meetings is required.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Required to answer application questions and provide a video showcasing exceptional capabilities.
