This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Implement architectural patterns and standards throughout the .NET services and the wider .NET application ecosystem.

• Ensure that engineering solutions are in alignment with established architectural decisions.

• Identify implementation obstacles and escalate decisions that may require reconsideration.

• Validate implementations through hands-on architectural and code evaluations.

• Design and execute LLM integration patterns when assigned to AI-driven projects.

• Apply prompt engineering techniques and utilize observability tools such as Langfuse for AI workflows.

• Define and implement evaluations for AI features, focusing on accuracy, latency, cost, and safety.

• Regularly write production code and collaborate with developers on complex implementation challenges.

• Assess and implement strategies for document chunking and embedding.

• Create prototypes prior to broader architectural deployment.

• Integrate with engineering teams for focused assignments.

• Engage in technical discussions and articulate architectural standards.

• Highlight implementation patterns and challenges to Solution Architects and the Enterprise Architect.

• Analyze existing architecture and collaborate with various teams over time.

• Document implementation patterns and contribute to records of architectural decisions.

• Communicate architectural expectations and address ambiguities in guidance.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of progressive experience in software engineering, demonstrating technical leadership or senior developer capabilities.

• More than 3 years of experience making technical and architectural decisions for your team.

• Strong hands-on coding abilities with regular experience in production coding.

• Extensive hands-on expertise in .NET/C# and React.

• Familiarity with distributed systems and messaging frameworks, such as pub/sub, message queues, and event-driven communication.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms, especially Azure or AWS.

• Understanding of contemporary application architectures: microservices, API design, and event-driven patterns.

• Capability to work across diverse teams and adapt to various codebases and contexts.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to fellow developers.

• A curiosity about the overarching system architecture.

• Working knowledge of Python.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Preferred: broader technology stack experience including React, Python, Snowflake, and dbt.

• Preferred: hands-on experience with LLMs in production or near-production environments.

• Preferred: experience in prompt engineering.

• Preferred: familiarity with LLM observability or evaluation tools such as Langfuse.

• Preferred: knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation, vector databases, or agentic workflow patterns.

• Preferred: experience with TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions.

• Preferred: expertise in REST APIs, message queues, and CDC.

• Preferred: skills in database design and data modeling.

• Preferred: familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

• Preferred: experience in multi-tenant SaaS environments.

• Preferred: background in B2B SaaS or enterprise software development.
