Senior Software Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Choose suitable architectural patterns, such as microservices and message queues.

• Validate architectural selections in relation to requirements.

• Assess trade-offs between simplicity and flexibility.

• Establish scalability strategies and failure-recovery protocols.

• Guarantee the availability of the release-control service if the daily consolidation process encounters issues.

• Define communication protocols between components, including message formats.

• Select integration tools and outline their responsibilities.

• Implement mechanisms for authentication, authorization, encryption, and safeguards against attacks, including WAF.

• Analyze strategies for segmenting the system into smaller, manageable components.

• Abstract and delineate responsibilities across different layers.

• Create clean, well-structured, and maintainable C# code.

• Apply SOLID principles and adhere to Clean Code practices.

• Develop tests with comprehensive coverage, quality, and relevance.

• Fulfill both technical and business requirements.

• Document the architecture and generate diagrams.

• Rationalize architectural choices and define data flows.

• Produce detailed operational and local execution instructions (README).

• Centralize documentation and highlight potential improvements or extensions.

• Exhibit a long-term vision and strategic planning.

• Engage in discussions concerning development trade-offs and challenges.

• Ensure flawless local execution.

• Utilize Docker, Docker Compose, CI/CD, and IaC.

• Prepare cost estimates.

• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing scalable, resilient, and secure software architectures.

• Practical software development experience using C#.

• Familiarity with software design principles, including SOLID and Clean Code.

• Experience in implementing automated testing, encompassing unit and integration tests.

• Knowledge of architectural patterns, including microservices and message queues.

• In-depth understanding of C# and the .NET ecosystem.

• Strong grasp of design patterns.

• Knowledge of software architecture principles.

• Familiarity with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

• Understanding of information security concepts, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.

• Proficiency with source control platforms, including Git.

• Acquaintance with TDD and BDD methodologies.

• Familiarity with Docker and Docker Compose.

• Knowledge of CI/CD processes.

• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to foster effective teamwork.

• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

• Capacity to make informed technical decisions based on data and trade-offs.

• Skill in documenting solutions clearly and systematically.
