Senior Social Media Strategy Lead – Freelance Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Enhance the current social strategy by fine-tuning the content approach in collaboration with the client, creator strategist, and brand strategist as necessary.

• Create detailed creative briefs for key channels and collaborate closely with the creative team while they develop social content.

• Direct the creator strategy and associated tasks through the client review and approval process.

• Evaluate social creative, offer constructive feedback, and assist in guiding final deliverables through client approval.

• Spearhead the creation of the community management playbook.

• Supervise the community manager until the conclusion of the project.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in leading social content strategy and implementation within an agency or an in-house brand team.

• Demonstrated experience in briefing creative teams, assessing their work, and guiding social content from initial concept to final approval.

• Capability to engage directly with clients or business stakeholders, integrate feedback, and facilitate decision-making processes.

• Experience in shaping creator strategy and managing community oversight as part of a comprehensive brand program.

• Availability for freelance work, with prior experience managing this function for a business or client team.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application and throughout the duration of employment.

• This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• Must be available for collaboration during business hours (9:00 AM–5:00 PM ET).
