Senior Social Media Editor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily operations of theScore and theScore Bet social media profiles on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, and YouTube.

• Craft and refine social media content while upholding the appropriate style, tone, and editorial guidelines.

• Discover and highlight pertinent third-party content suitable for various channels.

• Leverage data to guide content strategies and enhance engagement and growth across channels.

• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to design and implement promotions and campaigns.

• Be available for regular and required night and weekend shifts.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in digital media, ideally within the sports sector.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in social media management.

• Excellent writing and editing capabilities.

• A passionate and knowledgeable sports enthusiast familiar with a variety of leagues, teams, and players.

• A solid understanding of engaging social media content.

• Experience with social media publishing and analytics tools.

• Quick adaptability to new applications and technologies.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Intermediate skills or higher in Photoshop and other visual editing software.

• Practical knowledge of sports betting; advanced knowledge is preferred.

• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
