📋 Description

• Oversee the reliability, scalability, and security architecture for the mission-critical platform.

• Work in collaboration with development teams to integrate reliability practices.

• Create resilient cloud-native infrastructure.

• Establish platform-wide observability.

• Design and standardize SLO/SLI frameworks along with error-budget policies across engineering teams.

• Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable Infrastructure as Code and cloud-native Kubernetes environments.

• Drive the observability strategy by assessing, implementing, and optimizing telemetry solutions within distributed systems.

• Manage incident response during critical system events.

• Conduct blameless post-incident reviews and promote systemic mitigation strategies.

• Develop automation frameworks and platform tools using Python or Go.

• Reduce operational friction and ensure automatic enforcement of security compliance.

• Mentor and provide guidance to software and reliability engineers.

• Promote continuous learning, collaboration, and high engineering quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience managing high-throughput distributed systems and cloud infrastructure at scale, or equivalent demonstrated ability.

• Advanced knowledge in Kubernetes, Linux internals, cloud networking, and Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform and AWS.

• Strong skills in Python or Go for developing automation tools and system integrations.

• Proven experience in leading incident responses, conducting blameless post-mortems, and implementing root-cause prevention across complex architectures.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Professional certifications in Kubernetes (CKA, CKS) or cloud providers (AWS Solutions Architect) are beneficial.

• Knowledge of compliance and security frameworks, including SOC 2 and CIS benchmarks.

• Experience with leveraging Gen AI tools for development workflows and diagnostic automation.
