DevOps Engineer/SRE – Cloud IaaS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Deploy new servers.

• Implement changes to the infrastructure.

• Plan and carry out maintenance for the infrastructure.

• Diagnose, identify, and resolve software and hardware issues within the infrastructure.

• Improve infrastructure lifecycle pipelines.

• Utilize technologies such as Linux, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, Bash, Python, OpenStack, and Ceph.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a DevOps/SRE Engineer role.

• Strong expertise in Linux systems.

• Experience working with OpenStack.

• Familiarity with at least one configuration management tool (e.g., Puppet, Ansible, Terraform).

• Comprehensive understanding of computer networking, including routing and switching concepts.

• A passion for technology and a strong desire to grasp systems at a low level.

• Proficiency in writing Bash and Python scripts.

• Knowledge of virtualization systems like KVM, Libvirt, and QEMU.

• Willingness to be part of an on-call rotation.

• Intermediate or higher level of English, adequate for communication in chats and calls.

• Experience with Ceph is a plus.
