QA/DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the development and upkeep of automated test suites for Oracle ERP Cloud (Fusion) and Salesforce, with an emphasis on Tosca-driven regression and progression testing.

• Execute end-to-end QA automation suites for Oracle ERP Cloud and Salesforce during quarterly patch upgrades.

• Analyze new features in Oracle and Salesforce releases and suggest enhancements to the testing processes.

• Develop and enhance regression and progression automation testing in Tosca for both Oracle Fusion and Salesforce.

• Create, manage, and update Tosca scripts across the GL, AP, AR, and FAH modules.

• Lead evaluations of feature enhancements during quarterly patch assessments and new enhancement initiatives.

• Incorporate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and initiate regression tests on release candidate builds.

• Sustain test infrastructure and environments in collaboration with DevOps and ERP Technical teams.

• Document test coverage, defect trends, and readiness for release in Jira and shared reporting dashboards.

• Automate testing use cases for FAH, AR, AP, and Salesforce.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience in QA automation.

• Proficient hands-on experience with Tosca for the development and maintenance of regression and progression test suites.

• Proven experience in executing and maintaining automated test cycles for quarterly Oracle patch upgrades.

• Knowledge of Oracle ERP Cloud and SFDC feature reviews and technical impact assessments.

• Experience in integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar).

• Familiarity with pipeline configurations, including triggering regression runs on pull requests and release candidate builds.

• Practical understanding of version control systems (Git / GitHub or GitLab): including branching, pull requests, and code review processes.

• Basic scripting skills in Python, Shell, or PowerShell for automating test utilities and supporting pipelines.

• Knowledge of containerized test environments (Docker); experience with running tests in ephemeral containers is advantageous.

• Experience with Jira for defect tracking, test coverage reporting, and participation in sprints.

• Ability to write and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, regression logs, and summaries of release readiness.

• Capability to collaborate effectively with ERP Functional Analysts, ERP Technical Developers, and DevOps engineers.

• Familiarity with SOX compliance, ITGC controls, and practices related to ERP change management.
