Senior DevOps Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Improve the development lifecycle, spanning from code integration (CI) to production delivery (CD)

• Design and maintain reusable pipeline templates for builds, testing, analysis, and deployments

• Develop Shell Script and Docker automations for tooling, bootstrapping, and CI tasks

• Manage and enhance GitLab CI runners

• Upgrade the SCM platform (GitLab), focusing on branch policies, merge strategies, integrations, and updates

• Apply Shift Left practices, SAST, container scanning, and guardrails

• Create internal tools utilizing a Node/NestJS backend combined with a React frontend

• Manage Kubernetes clusters and codify infrastructure using Terraform and Crossplane

• Offer technical leadership and ensure alignment among development teams, architecture, and users

• Supervise the development lifecycle, from architecture and technology selection to production maintenance and debugging

• Collect requirements from clients and translate them into technical and system specifications

• Lead test planning and simulations

• Coordinate the deployment of applications, optimizations, and solutions for IT issues

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in development/platform engineering within production environments

• Strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, including templates, runners, and integrations

• Advanced Shell Script and Python proficiency for pipeline automation

• Docker expertise, focusing on optimized images, multi-stage builds, and security practices

• SCM management skills, including branch policies, conventional commits, and semantic versioning

• Extensive knowledge of the CI lifecycle: linting, builds, testing, static analysis, and artifact publication

• Practical experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and Crossplane

• Familiarity with Node.js/TypeScript (NestJS)

• Solid understanding of Linux fundamentals
